Cosomos
A downloadable game for Windows, Linux, and Android
Discover the colorful planet of your dreams in this cozy procedural planet generator.
The Story
You play as the pilot of an experimental ship, the Cosomos. The Cosomos is equipped with a state-of-the-art warp drive, capable of instantly transporting it to far away star systems and distant planets. The people of your homeworld have developed a unique universal coordinate system to help identify and navigate the infinite reaches of space.
Unfortunately, the coordinates of your homeworld were miscalculated. Though the ship, coordinate system, and warp drive function perfectly, you no longer know where your original homeworld is located or how to reach it. Your new mission is to explore new planets, discover new life and new resources, improving your knowledge and your ship until you can find your way back home.
Development
This game was developed in Godot over the course of one month! The main features of the game are all present, though I plan to return to its development in the future to add more story-based gameplay elements.
Todo List:
- Ship Repair/Finding Homeworld Quest
- Ship View
- Easter Egg Planets
